Are you passionate about empowering people to participate in local decision making to bring about social, economic, and cultural change? Then this exciting new post could be for you.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a community development qualification or with volunteering experience who would like to work in the sector. You will be mentored by your Line Manager who will support your learning and development journey. This three year job offers training and development opportunities, you will develop your knowledge of the sector, the issues affecting communities and develop skills.
The overall purpose of the role is to support CDHN’s long-term commitment to ongoing engagement with its members and community stakeholders in line with the organisation’s strategic direction to end health inequalities. Using a range of participatory approaches and suitable digital technologies, the Community Engagement Officer will work with the CDHN team to implement our Community Engagement and Membership Strategy to grow and diversify our membership base.
