The Public Health Agency commissioned the Community Development & Health Network to develop and deliver a new programme of support for the community, voluntary and public sectors.

Menopause – THE Hot Topic

Rural Health Partnership along with Northern Pharmacies received a Level 2 BCPP grant of £10,000 from CDHN for a Menopause Matters programme. The project aims to support women to cope and manage menopause addressing issues around mental, emotional and physical wellbeing and increasing awareness of the impact of the menopause on those experiencing it.

Community Development and Health Network (CDHN) is delighted to announce the 13 successful applicants in the latest round of Level 2 funding for the Building the Community-Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) programme. 

The Public Health Agency has commissioned the Community Development & Health Network (CDHN) to develop and deliver a new programme of support for the community, voluntary and public sectors. Elevate will provide opportunities for the development of skills, knowledge and expertise in community development as a way to tackle health inequalities.

The Public Health Agency co-hosted its bi-annual conference for stakeholders with CDHN on Wednesday 20th March 2019 at Craigavon Civic Centre on the theme ‘Expansion of Community Development Approaches’.

According to the National Childbirth Trust (NCT), the first 1,000 days of a child’s life are the most important.  NCT is the UK’s largest charity of parents providing information and support during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. 

Community Development and Health Network (CDHN) is delighted to disclose the list of successful applicants in the latest round of Level 2 funding for the Building the Community-Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) programme.  Funding was offered to 23 projects throughout Northern Ireland with all due to commence in January 2019.
