This is a free, interactive workshop exploring the impact of our social circumstances on our health and wellbeing, and how effective community development approaches can reduce health inequalities in our communities.

  • The social determinants of health
  • Understanding community development values
  • Understanding the role of community development in reducing health inequalities

 Who is the training for?

Anyone with an interest in health, welbeing, community development or health inequalities including staff and volunteers in voluntary organisations, community groups, councils, health and social care and government agencies.

Who will deliver the training?

The training programme will be led and facilitated by a Training and Development Officer with a focus on sharing learning from local communities.

Please note there are limited places on each training programme and booking is essential.
