A new online space for those passionate about community-led action on health and wellbeing

CDHN are excited to announce the launch of our Community Development Practitioners Forum – a new online community of practice for anyone using community development approaches to address health inequalities across Northern Ireland.

Launched with our 'Elevate' programme, this forum will be an ideal space for users to connect, share ideas, and learn with others passionate about improving health and wellbeing through community-led action.

Anyone working or volunteering in a community development role with a focus on health and wellbeing, is welcome to join.

This includes voluntary and community sector staff and volunteers, and public sector workers in local government and health trusts.

Interested in getting involved?

We are beginning the planning process now for a launch in January 2026, and we’re keen to involve interested individuals in the co-design from the very beginning.
