£264,000 in funding awarded for BCPP projects in this round

Community Development and Health Network (CDHN) is delighted to announce the 22 successful projects in the latest round of Level Two funding for the Building the Community-Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) programme. 

The groups and pharmacies to benefit from the funding of £12,000 for each project are as follows:

  • ARC Fitness and H Sweeny Chemist, Derry/L’derry
  • Assistance Dogs NI and Gibson’s Pharmacy, Limavady
  • Cornabracken After School CIC and Brookmount Pharmacy, Omagh
  • Crisis Café CIC and McKeevers Chemist, Newry
  • Fermanagh Sports and Cultural Awareness Association and Village Pharmacy, Ballinamallard
  • Futureproof and Parkes Pharmacy, Banbridge
  • Head Injury Support and McKeevers Chemist, Newry
  • Loughshore Community Services and Coagh Pharmacy
  • The Magnet Centre and McKeevers Chemist, Newry
  • Mid & East Antrim Agewell Partnership and McFarlanes Pharmacy Plus, Larne
  • Meigh Community Association and Meigh Pharmacy
  • Oasis Caring in Action and Boots the Chemist, Antrim
  • Respect Youth and McCartan’s Pharmacy, Newry
  • Safe Spaces and Ballee Pharmacy, Ballymena
  • St Colmans PTA and Camlough Pharmacy
  • Traad & Ballyronan/Ballinderry Development Association and O’Brien’s Pharmacy, Magherafelt
  • The Churches Trust and Murphy’s Chemist, Derry/L’derry
  • The Parents Room and Fortwilliam Pharmacy, Belfast
  • The Right Key and Johnston’s Pharmacy, Dromore
  • Waterside Women’s Centre and Murphy’s Chemist, Derry/L’derry

Kathy Martin, Strategic Impact Manager, said ‘As always, the standard of applications was extremely high and we are delighted to welcome back some organisations we have funded in the past but not for some time.’

Kathy continued ‘We have a great mix of projects with participants from all age groups and a broad flavour of specialist organisations including mental health, physical injury and long term conditions support. We thank you all for your applications and look forward to recording great stories from you in the coming months.’

The next round of funding is due to close on 13 October (Level 1) and 17 November (Level 2).
