Duneane Community Health Champions

As part of ongoing work with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council we have trained 30 community health champions in Toome. This is an innovative project which used the principles of coproduction to improve service delivery between local government and the community. They are working as a collective committed to improving health and well-being in the community. They organised a Spirit Day in March, they have begun to set up a timebank and they have set up a facebook page.
