BCPP - Group Work Skills for Health and Wellbeing

Group Work Skills Training is an opportunity to improve or develop your skills and confidence when working with groups.

CDHN are delighted to offer BCPP projects a free training opportunity as we know how challenging it can be to deliver group talks and facilitate discussions.

This training will explore a range of engagement methods, look at group roles and responsibilities and review leadership styles and values.  This will enable participants to deliver more interactive sessions that will be more effective in addressing health and well-being issues.

The training will also be a great opportunity to network with other community representatives and pharmacists involved in BCPP projects.

Date: Tuesday 28th November 2017

Time: 9.30am – 3.30pm

Venue: NICVA, Duncairn Gardens, Belfast

Cost: Free

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Places are only available for people who are currently involved with BCPP or have previously been part of a BCPP funded project and are hoping to get involved again.

Optional OCN Accreditation

This training is worth one credit at Level 2.  A cost of £30 will be incurred for any participant who wishes to obtain the accreditation.
