The Community Development and Health Network is Northern Ireland’s leading organisation working to empower communities and tackle health inequalities using community development.


Along with Community Places we have been working on a Public Conversations Dialogue Project looking at the siting of renewable energy technology – an often contentious issue particularly in rural communities.

GIMME 5 is a new resource designed to support workers to promote the positive wellbeing messages with young people by:

1.                  Raising awareness of The Five Ways to Wellbeing and how these support good mental health and wellbeing.

The Patient and Client Council in conjunction with the Patient Information Forum, is holding an event to explore the accessibility and availability of health information.


Working with people presents staff with an assortment of challenges, not least how to manage certain kinds of behaviour.
